no there is not. if this trade would have went through I would be 95% sure that dwight howard would debut in a lakers jersey alongside CP3 on dec 25th…. imagine the ratings for a finals involving 6 of the top 15 players in the NBA.
I’m sorry the small markets aren’t capable of winning in the NBA. The NBA is not the NFL, it is not the MLB. The nba is a product as a whole. It is not 30 separate teams making money and reinvesting it to continue to build a product. The nba is based of off revenue sharing. Until you get owners who want to win you will not have a fully competitive league in which every team has the same chance of winning. right now over half the owners dont care about winning, they just want to make money…cough cough david sterling…..

Martin and odom are borderline allstars….that first round pick will be in this year draft(a draft that will include 6-8 potential franchise guys). scola is no scrub and dragic is fully capable of becoming your future PG.

the lakers/rockets deal is better than that
and unless the clippers offer both gordon and jordon i dont see anydeal being better than a lakers/rockets deal.
(we dont even know if CP3 will sign an extension to play for the clippers, so they would be giving up their best 2 prospects without even knowing if CP3 would be back next year.)
